Written by the Puerto Vallarta Airport Transfers operations team — we drive these routes every day.
Wedding transportation in Puerto Vallarta means private, all-inclusive vehicles — not a shared shuttle — booked for the wedding party and every guest’s PVR airport arrival, sized from a private van up to 8 to a Sprinter up to 14. Multiple vehicles coordinate under one booking so guests arriving on different flights, and any day-of venue transfers, stay on schedule.

What "wedding transportation" means in Puerto Vallarta
Wedding transportation at PVR is the same private, all-inclusive airport transfer we run for every traveler, applied to the wedding party and every guest flying in for the celebration — not a shared shuttle that groups strangers by seat. Uber and other ride-hailing apps cannot legally pick up or drop off at the PVR curb, so for a wedding party that means the realistic options are separate taxi sindicato cars for every arriving guest, or prearranged private vehicles booked together so the whole group is tracked, met, and driven on the same standard. Pricing is per vehicle, not per person, using the same zone-based rates published across this site — there is no separate "wedding rate," just the standard all-inclusive price applied to a bigger, more coordinated booking.
Vehicle options for the wedding party and guests
We offer three vehicle types from PVR, and the size of the party riding together determines which one fits: a private van (up to 8 passengers) for the wedding party or a small group of guests, a Suburban/SUV (up to 6 passengers) when 4-wheel-drive access to a south-zone or hillside venue matters, and a Sprinter executive van (up to 14 passengers, premium interior) for a larger group of guests traveling together on one flight. Select your party size at checkout and we show the right vehicle options and confirmed price for your zone.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Private van | Up to 8 passengers | Wedding party or a small group of guests |
| Suburban/SUV | Up to 6 passengers | 4-wheel-drive access to south-zone or hillside venues |
| Sprinter executive van | Up to 14 passengers, premium interior | Larger guest groups arriving together on one flight |
Coordinating airport transportation for wedding guests
Wedding guests rarely all land on the same flight — most arrive across two or three days in the run-up to the event, on different airlines and different schedules. The same all-inclusive model used for large family groups runs across multiple vehicles booked together so every guest reaches the same hotel or venue on a matching standard of service. Each vehicle tracks its own flight independently, so a guest list split across several arrivals does not need to land at the same time to be coordinated at the other end. Share the full guest list, arrival flights, and destination hotel or venue when you book so we can confirm the right combination of vehicles for the wedding.
- Live flight tracking for every guest’s inbound flight — each vehicle adjusts pickup automatically for an early or delayed landing.
- Professional, English-speaking driver waiting at the terminal exit with a name sign for each arriving party.
- One flat, all-inclusive per-vehicle price confirmed before you fly — no per-passenger surcharge up to vehicle capacity.
- Child and booster seats installed before you land, available at no extra charge on any vehicle type.
- Room for wedding-related luggage — garment bags, gifts, and extra suitcases — when the right vehicle tier is selected at booking.
Timing: guest arrivals and transportation during the wedding
Wedding transportation timing falls into two categories. The first is airport-to-hotel arrivals: guests landing at PVR in the days before the wedding, each tracked on their own flight and driven directly to the hotel or venue zone at the standard zone price (see the pricing below). The second is transportation during the event itself — most commonly a ride between the ceremony and reception when the two are not held at the same property. That second leg is not part of the standard PVR-to-zone pricing table, since it does not start or end at the airport and is not a zone we have priced in advance. Share both venue addresses when you book and we confirm a private vehicle and price for that route directly, using the same all-inclusive model — professional driver, no per-seat pricing — as every other transfer on this site.
Zone pricing for guest airport transfers
Guest airport transfers use the same zone-based, all-inclusive pricing as every other PVR private transfer. City-zone hotels and venues (Marina Vallarta, Zona Romantica, Conchas Chinas) start from $50-$58 per vehicle; the Riviera Nayarit corridor (Nuevo Vallarta through La Cruz de Huanacaxtle) runs $58-$91; and longer routes to Punta Mita or the south-zone hotels run $151-$203. See the full zone-by-zone breakdown in our transfer cost guide.
