Puerto Vallarta Airport Transfer Cost Guide

PVR airport transfer prices are set per vehicle (not per person) by zone. The zone reflects the approximate distance and route from PVR to your destination. You pay one flat rate regardless of the number of passengers (up to your vehicle capacity). The price at checkout is all-inclusive: driver tip, airport tolls, bottled water, and child seats are included — no add-ons at the vehicle.

We offer three vehicle types from PVR: a private van (up to 8 passengers), Suburban/SUV (up to 6 passengers, ideal for 4-wheel-drive south-zone access), and Sprinter executive van (up to 14 passengers, premium interior). Vehicle pricing varies by zone — select your party size at checkout and we show the right options. Child seats and booster seats are available at no extra charge on all vehicles.

Every PVR private transfer is priced by zone, and the twelve zones we serve fall into three clear cost tiers once you line them up by distance from the airport. Zones inside the Puerto Vallarta city limits — Marina Vallarta, Zona Romantica, and Conchas Chinas — sit in the lowest tier, from $50 to $58 USD per vehicle. Riviera Nayarit zones along Federal Highway 200, from Nuevo Vallarta through La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, make up the middle tier, from $58 to $91 USD. The longest routes — the surf towns of Sayulita, San Pancho, and Lo de Marcos, the gated Punta Mita peninsula, and the south-zone villages of Mismaloya and Boca de Tomatlan — fall into the top tier, from $151 to $203 USD. • City zone ($50-$58): Marina Vallarta (from $50, 15-22 min), Zona Romantica / Old Town (from $52, 22-30 min), and Conchas Chinas (from $58, 25-35 min). These are the closest hotel and rental areas to PVR, all inside Puerto Vallarta proper.
• Riviera Nayarit corridor ($58-$91): Nuevo Vallarta (from $58, 20-28 min), Bucerias (from $67, 25-35 min), and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (from $91, 35-45 min). Each stop north on Federal Highway 200 adds roughly 15-20 minutes and a step up in price.

The same math applies at the top of the range: four travelers splitting the $203 San Pancho rate pay $50.75 per person for a direct, no-stops ride of over an hour, with room for luggage, boards, and car seats. A private van holds up to 8 passengers at the same flat zone price, so larger groups and multi-family trips see the steepest per-person savings. Why distance alone does not set the price

Every price in the tables above is the full price you pay — not a starting point that grows once you're at the vehicle. Airport tolls on the routes north to the Riviera Nayarit and south along the coastal highway are built into the fare, so you are never asked to cover a toll booth in cash mid-transfer. Your driver tracks your actual flight number, not your scheduled arrival time, so a delayed landing does not trigger a no-show or a late fee — the driver adjusts pickup automatically and waits. Bottled water is provided in the vehicle. Child and booster seats are installed before you land, at no extra charge, for any zone and any vehicle type.
