About the tip: our drivers are paid a fair living wage by us — not from your tip. If our driver makes your arrival feel like a small gift, a tip is welcome. It's never expected and never charged at checkout.

We monitor your flight in real time and adjust for delays. Your driver is always at the right place at the right time.
From $50, your price includes vehicle, driver, taxes, tolls, water, and child seats. The number you see is the number you pay. Tip is welcome but never expected.

After you clear customs, exit the terminal and keep walking straight toward the main doors — your host is waiting outside, not inside the arrivals hall.
Inside, you'll pass a row of people offering taxis, tours, and timeshare “help.” You don't need any of it — walk straight past them and step outside.
Don't stop at any booth or let anyone carry your bags inside the terminal; our host is just past the exit doors.
Just outside the exit, look for your host in khaki pants and a black guayabera, holding a sign with your name and our logo.
The host greets you, takes a moment to confirm the booking, and radios your driver — who's already in the staging area and arrives at the curb in under two minutes. Your bags go in. Your trip begins. During the ride, ask anything you need. Recommendations, restaurant tips, local advice — your driver is at your service.

Embroidered shirt + khaki pants — distinctive on purpose.
A small concierge note from us.
Puerto Vallarta's arrivals corridor is full of friendly people offering rides and “free” tours. They aren't us. Keep walking past them — our host is waiting just outside the exit with your name on a sign.

Mayan Palace Vidanta is one of five branded sections inside the gated Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta complex, with its own dedicated entrance — not to be confused with the similarly named Grand Mayan section next door. A private door-to-door transfer covers the 13-17 km, 22-30 minute drive north from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) via Federal Highway 200, with flight tracking and meet-and-greet included.

The drive from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR, Lic. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz) to Mayan Palace Vidanta covers roughly 13-17 km, almost entirely north on Federal Highway 200 across the Ameca River into Nayarit — the same route and range as the rest of the Vidanta complex. Off-peak the ride is about 22-30 minutes. During high season and holiday-weekend Fridays, add 15-20 minutes for corridor traffic. Your driver tracks your flight in real time and plans the route around live traffic, so the pickup time follows your actual landing, not the scheduled one.
| Metric | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Distance | ~13-17 km | Door to door via Federal Highway 200 |
| Typical time | 22-30 min | Off-peak; same range as the rest of the Vidanta complex |
| High-season add | +15-20 min | Holiday weekends and peak Fridays |
| Route | Federal Highway 200 | North from PVR, across the Ameca River |
| State line | Jalisco → Nayarit | Seamless crossing, no checkpoint, no added time |
Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is split into five similarly branded sections inside the same gated complex, and two of the names — Mayan Palace and Grand Mayan — are close enough to cause mix-ups at booking. They are different sections with different entrances on the same property. This page and our transfer service cover Mayan Palace specifically; if your reservation confirmation says "Grand Mayan" instead, that section has its own dedicated transfer page. Either way, the drive time and route from PVR are the same — only the gate your driver goes to changes.
Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta is not one hotel — it is a gated complex split into five distinct branded sections, each with its own entrance and drop-off point. Mayan Palace shares the same footprint, the same 13-17 km / 22-30 minute drive from PVR, and the same private-transfer process as the other four sections; only the exact gate changes.
| Section | Dedicated transfer page |
|---|---|
| Mayan Palace | This page |
| Grand Mayan | /en/transfers-to-grand-mayan-vidanta |
| Grand Bliss | /en/transfers-to-grand-bliss-vidanta |
| Grand Luxxe | /en/transfers-to-grand-luxxe-vidanta |
| The Estates | /en/transfers-to-the-estates-vidanta |
None of that changes how the transfer works: the same private-vehicle service and the drive time above apply to every Vidanta section equally, including Mayan Palace. Knowing your exact section in advance just means your driver clears the right gate on the first try instead of routing through the shared main entrance and doubling back. See the full Vidanta complex overview and all five sections together on our Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta transfer hub, linked below.
The wider Vidanta complex — Mayan Palace included — sits on the same stretch of Nuevo Vallarta beachfront as Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, and the twin Riu properties (Riu Jalisco and Riu Palace Pacífico). All of these resorts fall inside the same 13-17 km / 22-30 minute drive range from PVR, and none of them sit behind a peninsula-style security checkpoint the way the Punta Mita resorts further north do — Vidanta has its own perimeter and entrance directly off Federal Highway 200, separate from the individual all-inclusives around it. If you are comparing transfer options for a group split across different Nuevo Vallarta resorts, every property on this stretch uses the same route and the same private, no-shared-stops process, just with a different final gate.
After you clear immigration and collect your bags at PVR, walk straight out the arrivals exit. Ignore the tour and timeshare desks inside the terminal — your host waits just outside, holding a sign with your name and our logo, and there is no upsell to work through. From there it is a single direct ride to Mayan Palace. If you are travelling with a group or extra luggage, note it when you book so we assign a van, Suburban, or Sprinter with room to spare rather than a standard sedan.
Your transfer is ready whenever you are. Book in under 2 minutes — no account needed.
